An Action-Packed evening with of Taekwondo performances marked the conclusion of Extreme Taekwondo training Camp & the Mirme Cup. A brilliant evening on 8th May 2016 in Bilimora saw the presence of dignitaries like Pragnesh Patel – Bilimora City BJP President, Former Bilimora Corporation President & Current Corporator, Mr. Prathamesh Vashi- Taluka Panchayat President, Mr. Ashok Jalnawalla- President (JSTARC), Manoj Jalnawalla – Member of Board of Directors (JSTARC), Mr. Nilesh Jalnawala – CEO (JSTARC) & Mr. Pareshkumar Patel – Head (JSTARC Gujarat). Also gracing the event were Guests from Korea, Mr. Shin Min Cheol – President (Mirme Taekwondo Team) & Jeong Wookon. Both had arrived earlier this week to conduct India’s first ever camp on Extreme Taekwondo. Taekwondo students & parents were present in large numbers.

The evening began with the traditional lighting of the lamp & proceeded to become the most memorable evening for the taekwondo fraternity in Bilimora. Remarkable performances for the Mirme Cup Taekwondo Demonstration Championship by teams from Gujarat, Bangalore & Mizoram enthralled the audiences. The winners received Cash Prizes, Certificates & a Trophy. The champions were Mizoram Mission Team led by their captain Dominic Rozamliana K. The winning team received a cash prize of Rs.1,51,000/- The 2nd prize was for Rs. 1,01,000/- & the 3rd place winners won a prize of Rs. 51,000/-

7 Students from JSTARC Gujarat earning their 3rd Dan Black Belt were felicitated at the ceremony. They were handed their Kukkiwon Dan Certificates by Mr. Shin Min Cheol. Master Nilesh Jalnawala gave the audience a small insight into Free Style Poomsae. JSTARC is the first institute to introduce Creative Poomsae to Indian Students. A group of students gave a live demonstration of the same. It was a testimony to their learning at the camp. As a part of their special venture, JSTARC launched a CD – a compilation of Mirme Cup Performances. The Championship & creation of the video was to showcase India’s talent in Martial arts. It will be a stepping- stone to the vision of JSTARC’s CEO, Mr. Nilesh Jalnawala to create India’s National Martial Arts Demonstration team. The awards ceremony was an exciting affair.

The winners of the Mirme Cup were.

1st place – Mizoram Mission Team (Captain- Dominic Rozamliana K.)

2nd place – Team Shiva (Captain- Joju Nair)

3rd place – Little Champs (Captain Vansh Patel)

The Best Performer (Extreme Taekwondo Camp) were

1st place – Kumari G. (JSTARC Bengaluru)

2nd place – Dominic Rozamliana K. (Mizoram Mission Team)

3rd place – Ritesh S. (JSTARC Bengaluru)

The 1st, 2nd & 3rd Best performers won a merit certificate & cash prize of Rs. 25,000/-, Rs. 20,000/- & Rs. 15,000 respectively. All the participants of the camp received participation certificates. The evening concluded with a special mention of the core team of JSTARC Gujarat for their efforts & organisation of the Camp & Cup & a vote of thanks from Mr. Nilesh Jalnawala.
