Students of JSTARC – Kolhapur shine at the recently held Taekwondo Colour Belt Examinations

This month, in the town of Rajarampuri (Kolhapur), Jalnawala Sports Training and Research Centre, organised a felicitation ceremony for the students who had successfully appeared for their Taekwondo colour belt examination. This program consisted of distribution of various prizes and the colour belts.
This ceremony saw the awarding of Green Belt, Blue Belt, and Red 1 Belt. Present at the ceremony, as guests of honour were Former Soldier of Army TA Battalion, Ashok Malkar & Kathak Exponent, Shubhangi Tawre (Gandharva Mahavidyalaya). Invitees and chief guest spoke to the students about achievement, sportsmanship and the importance of dedication and focus. Centre head and a senior instructor of JSTARC, Mr. Amol Bhosale while talking to the students said, “Taekwondo is a not just a sport. Apart from being an excellent program for fitness, it also imparts discipline to the learner. It is an excellent measure for self defense it teaches self independence and these are the qualities that we are at JSTARC Kolhapur wish to imbibe in all our students.”
He also thanked JSTARC CEO & Technical Director, Master Nilesh Jalnawala. Mr. Bhosale further comments, “It is his guidance and vision that has leads instructors and our students to compete at International levels. He has raised the status of Taekwondo in India.”
Present at the ceremony were students, parents and other Taekwondo enthusiasts.
