The 6 day IMAC 2013 ends with an action-packed Grand Finale.

The recently held Jalnawala’s International Martial Arts Championship (IMAC’13) ended with a Grand Finale & Awards Ceremony at the Ramsheth Thakur International Sports Complex. The evening was alive with the crowds cheering the winners & special performances. The finale also witnessed the presence of eminent dignitaries from Navi Mumbai, the heads of JSTARC & JSW, parents & participants from all over India.
The highlight of the event was the fabulous performance of the World’s number 1 taekwondo demonstration team – Korean Tigers. Their routines were an excellent blend of Dance, Drama & Taekwondo Moves. They had the crowds clapping & wanting for more.
The Awards ceremony saw the felicitation of coaches, winners & referees. The Deccan Taekwondo Academy picked up the trophies for Best Team, Best Coach, & Best demonstration team with the cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000. There were awards given for Best Athlete Male & Female, Best Referee, Best Core Team Member & Best Teams.
The heads of Jalnawala Sports & Wellness also felicitated Master M. S. Chandrasekhar, the IMAC Championship Director & an International Referee for his eternal support & outstanding contribution in the field of Taekwondo in India.
The ceremony ended with a fire Show & a vote of thanks from Master Nilesh Jalnawala, Director of Jalnawala Sports & Wellness.

IMAC’ 13 had a grand startat Vishnudas Bhave Natyagruha (Vashi) in presence of eminent dignitaries like Shri. Ganesh Naik(State Excise, Non-conventional Energy Minister, Maharashtra), Shri Ramshet Thakur (Ex. M.P.), Shri Sagar Naik (Mayor, Navi Mumbai), Shri Ashok Jalnawala (President, JSTARC) & few others. Jalnawala’s International Martial Art Championship continues its activities at the newly built state-of –the-art Ramsheth Thakur Sports Complex in Ulve. A team of 24 Korean Tigers (K-Tigers), world’s number 1 Taekwondo Demonstration arrived in Mumbai along with Master Scott Seo (National Director, World Kido Federation & Hanminjok Hakido Association.).
IMAC is an initiative by the noted Jalnawala’s Sports & Wellness (JSW) & is a 3rd edition of mega events held for martial arts by the organisation. Master Nilesh Jalnawala says, “we want to showcase India’s potential in martial arts to the world & therefore we have a 2 part focus in IMAC, Training & Championships. Our associates & experts from Korea will train & interact with over 500 students, coaches & senior Masters form various states.” The various activities being conducted at IMAC are workshops in various aspects of taekwondo like Sparring, Poomsae, Musical Taekwondo, Extreme Taekwondo & Demonstration techniques. These were conducted by the experts from K Tigers. Apart from Taekwondo, Hapkido (Korean art of Self- Defence) has been a key focus of IMAC. The event also saw the launch of the ‘Traditional Hapkido Association’. The Logo was unveiled in a grandial Arts in India ceremony by Master Scott Seo & Master Nilesh Jalnawala. Mr. Yogesh Joshi, one of the key members of JSW, will be the President of the Association.
After the training there will be championships of Poomsae (Individual, Pair, Group), Sparring (Junior, Senior, Sub-Junior). The Demonstration Championships were a part of the Grand Opening Ceremony. A Senior Master & Coach comments, “JSW has always aimed at giving a 360 degree experience. I am looking forward to the venture Leader’s Forum which will focus on the Development & growth of Martial Arts in India. They will also detail on the various Powerbrands which include Koreafest (Training & Tourism tours to Korea) & Inspire (Training Centric Programs) & the introduction of PSS – Electronic Scoring System”. The JSW team will also felicitate Senior Master & International Referee for Kyrougi, Master M. S. Chandrasekhar.
The culmination of the event will be a Grand Finale & Closing Ceremony, which will showcase the Action Packed Performance by K Tigers & an Awards Ceremony.
