JSTARC Kolhapur successfully organizes 3rd Inter-class Taekwondo Sparring Championship

Under the guidance of Master Nilesh Jalnawala, Mr. Amol Bhosle of JSTARC Kolhapur successfully planned & executed the 3rd Inter-class Taekwondo Sparring Tournament. It was held at the Sayunkt Maharashtra sahakari housing society, Rajarampuri. Present at the event were Mr. Rohit Vassa & Mr. Prakash Bhosale. The competition saw the participation of 54 participants across age-groups competing in various categories.
At the end of the tournament, the tally saw the following results
1st Place – JSTARC- Takala,Rajarampuri, Kolahpur
2nd Place- JSTARC- Sasne Ground, Kolahpur.
3rd Place- JSTARC- Nagala Park, Kolahpur.
Mr. Amol Bhosale comments, “Taekwondo Sparring is an exciting tournament. It was great joy to see children of various ages compete to win medals for their class. They exhibited good sparring skills & we wish to further their talents in the regular classes based on their performance in the competition. Such events give them a platform for self-evaluation & preparation for competing internationally.”
Master Nilesh Jalnawala says, “such events give boost to healthy competition. Children push their limits to win & put up a better performance. They feel a sense of personal & collective achievement & at the sense of loyalty towards their class & teacher. This in the long-run, transforms into the qualities of an athlete competing in the world championships for his country along with his team. We also et to assess the level of training each child has accomplished in events like these.
