Master Abhishek Dubey completes Master’s Degree from Seoul National University & wins Best Thesis Award.
Master Abhishek is one of the young generation Coaches & referees from India who has made his mark among the International Taekwondo fraternity. Recently he has successfully completed his Masters degree in Global Sports Management from the prestigious Seoul National University. He not only completed the course with flying colours, but his thesis also won the ‘Best Thesis Award’. The subject chosen was ‘Curbing Child Labour through Sports- Analysis of the Taekwondo SDP Program.’
The thesis was based on an in-depth study & gave an insight to the problem. He plans to make use of his experience & knowledge to further the status & popularity of Taekwondo India. Abhishek says, “It is important for coaches & referees to expose themselves to the latest developments in the sport. We will be able to guide & train our athletes well when we ourselves have a strong technical education. This is possible by attending
seminars, training camps for coaches & officials. We must interact with peers so that the best modules can be made available for our players. Our proficiency will benefit Indian Taekwondoists.”
